My main partner is Nicomed, owned by Onisiforos Hadjionisiforou who will also be the Head of Physiotherapy for the Medical Centre Project. He also owns Kinisiforo Ltd which is a very specialist manufacturer of medical devices for physiotherapy application.

The NicoMed Rehabilitation Centers can be found in two locations on the island of Cyprus; Limassol and Paphos. The centers are specially designed for people with a wide range of motor impairments and patients with physical or mental disabilities.

NicoMed was established in 2004 and is a truly independent rehabilitation center providing physical therapy and rehabilitation services such as Clinical Psychology, Speech Therapy and a Workshop for Orthosis and Prosthesis all under one roof. Their staff and management are highly motivated, well-respected and compassionate professionals who are fully qualified and very experienced.

They have been providing trusted and quality care for the rehabilitation needs of their patients for over a decade, specializing in Orthopedics, Post-operative Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, Amputees and Pediatric Physiotherapy. They have staff able to communicate in English, Greek and Russian language as necessary. Our treatment programmes are specifically designed for each patients rehabilitation needs.

Tina Spyrou
Is a Harvard-trained registered dietitian and incorporates integrative and functional nutrition tactics to help relieve many symptoms associated with chronic autoimmune diseases. Tina is also certified as an autoimmune protocol coach. In addition to creating meal plans and protocols that boost nutrient-density, she is certified functional medicine practitioner from the Institute of Functional Medicine in the USA. 

Dr. Constantinos Panayi
He specialized in Orthopedic and Traumatology at the Athens Navy Hospital and at the KAT Hospital, the largest center of orthopedic surgery in Greece, where he received his specialty title in 2009. He then went to the Southampton University Hospital in UK where he dealt with new shoulder and knee surgery techniques.

In 2011 he to came Cyprus where he is a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in Limassol. He maintains a private clinic and performs his surgeries in YGEIA Polyclinic, the largest private hospital in Cyprus where he is also a member of the Board of Directors.

He is a member of the Cyprus Medical Association, the Medical Association of Limassol, the Cyprus Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom. He holds an Advance Trauma Life Support Diploma (ATLS).

Dr. Christodoulos Monastiriotis PhD
Dr. Christodoulos Monastiriotis PhD., is a doctor of the Department of Medicine at the Democritus University of Thrace and a graduate of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics at the same University. He is active in the whole spectrum of Pathology with particular interest in diabetes and its complications, obesity, hyperlipidemia and high blood pressure.

With a long history of both hospital and private practice, Dr. Monastiriotis has the knowledge and experience to effectively manage disease within his specialty, in accordance with the most modern international guidelines.

Monica Efstathiou - Embryologist  /EmbryonCyprus/
The ‘Embryon’ in vitro fertilization clinic is owned by experienced embryologist Efstathios Monica, specializing in the field of medically assisted human reproduction in an embryology laboratory, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. The methods we apply are many and varied, starting from insemination and in vitro fertilization (homologous or heterologous), cryopreservation of embryos, donation of genital material (eggs, sperm and embryos), in vitro fertilization preimplantation genetic diagnosis to avoid specific genetic diseases.

Dr. Pambos Lemonas
Dr. Lemonas was awarded his doctorate in medicine from Semmelweis University of Medicine and completed his Plastic surgical training in Central London Hospitals.  He was employed by prestigious hospitals such as Barts Health and King’s College Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital and Northampton General Hospital.  He also spent time at the Plastic Surgery department of Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York.

His long experience in Plastic Surgery combined with his exemplary education enable him to contribute to medical research with an important number of publications in several world class journals including the European Journal of Plastic Surgery, the International Wound Journal and the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal. While working at Barts Health and the London NHS Trust, two of the largest in activity scar clinics in the UK, his innovative input in scar management and development of new treatments in Keloid Disease has revolutionised the treatment options and highlighted the need for addressing the psychosocial issues associated with scars.

Ioannis Louvarides
Podiatrist Ioannis Louvarides has qualified with a BSc (Hons) Podiatry from Durham School of Podiatric Medicine in 2006.

The following year he worked as a locum Podiatrist for the National Health Service (NHS), Leeds PCT, in the United Kingdom.

In 2008 he started his postgraduate studies at University of Brighton and in 2010 he graduated with a Masters Degree in Podiatry with Diabetes. The year  after, he worked at a Diabetes Centre in Singapore treating high risk diabetic foot conditions in a multidisciplinary team. In addition, he was often undertaking biomechanical assessments and treatment for young athletes.

Returning to Cyprus in 2010, he founded the Podiatric Diagnosis clinic where he works to this day. He is a member of the British Societies of Podiatry, and registered to the British Health Professional Council. Also, he is a member of the Cypriot Diabetic Society as well as the Cypriot Anti-rheumatic society, and currently he is the secretary of the Cypriot Society of Podiatrists.
